Anya Kalk is a Swedish artist specializing in wooden sculpture. Drawing inspiration from medieval and Renaissance ornaments, her creations are a fusion of history, nature and folklore. She has a education as a professional woodcarver and in her studio she works with traditional materials, techniques, and tools creating her own decorative interpretation of monsters and woodland creatures.
