I collaborate with nature and with global communities. My work is durational and involves making and remaking with a direct goal: capturing and revealing outcomes that are unexpected: hues, patterns, impressions, marks, scars, stains, burns, and other records of relationships that emerge during processes of collaboration between materials and nature. I question how far it is possible to push the boundaries of sustainability as “traditional” craft intersects with modern art praxis.
