Seoyoung Shin

Konstnärskap

I was born in South Korea in 1979 and currently lives and practices in Sweden. I came to Sweden and studied textile crafts at Capellagården in 2013, and has been working with textiles and living in Sweden ever since. In 2022, I returned to Capellagården for another year to enhance my knowledge of weaving. I began my master's programme in Textiles at Konstfack in 2023. My work is deeply influenced by nature and everyday observations, inspiring me to create artistically crafted textile objects.
